The West Austin Studio Tour is a free self-guided tour of artist studios and exibition spaces.

Springboard is an open studio event including some of the larger studio complexes in Deep East Austin including Artpost, Bay 6 Studios, Big Medium, Pump Project, Pigoata Studios (next to Bay 6) and the Pump Project Satellite. View the facebook invite and see the map here.
Springboard is a great opportunity to see art and meet artists – whether you are a first-time visitor, a returning patron, or an art-o-phile who needs their studio-viewing fix before the annual East Austin Studio Tour in November. Browse the studios, experience the huge variety of art, be inspired by the creativity of each unique space.
Springboard is a free, self-guided tour. The locations are in close proximity to one another so consider bringing your bike for easy travel! There will be a closing party with bands at The Mill (next to Artpost) from 7-10 pm!

During this open studio event Artpost, Bay6 Studios, Big Medium, Pump Project and Pump Project Satellite will be open to the public. Please join us for this free tour- you can even bike between locations!
Springboard will also be your last chance to see the 2011 Texas Biennial exhibit hosted in the Big Medium and Pump Project Galleries as well as the Stacy Kirk exhibit at Bay6 and the “Figure Forum” drawing exhibit at Pump Satellite.
